  1. A claw hammer hanging on its painted outline

    You write

Tell me what the business does. A few sentences in an email is enough — no brief, no deck, no kickoff call.

  2. A hand plane hanging on its painted outline

    I rebuild it

The whole site — your name, your facts, working pages. Not a mockup. About a week once I know the business.

  3. A machinist square hanging on its painted outline

    You decide

The finished site goes on a private link. Take it, and I point your domain at it. Pass, and you owe nothing.

Most Rebuilds are $1,500 — six to ten pages, the usual small-business site. The number on this wall is the number you pay. It does not move after I start.

Bigger jobs — catalogues, long sites — run up to $4,000. You hear that number before I touch anything, and then it is fixed too.

You pay once, and only if you take it. If the finished site on the private link is not right, you owe nothing and there is no invoice. Take it, and the site is yours outright.

After the Rebuild the site is yours either way. Care is for Owners who would rather I keep holding the wrench — hosting, watching, and edits, month by month.

First month is already in. Stop any month. Skip all of it and run the site yourself — it belongs to you either way.

A seam left open is honest construction — you can see where the pieces meet. I build sites the same way. After a Rebuild it is still your business on the wall: same name, same facts, nothing glossy papered over the join. Open Seam Studio is one person. My name is Joe, and everything on this board is work I do myself.

What does it cost?

Most Rebuilds are $1,500 flat. Catalogues and long sites run up to $4,000, quoted before I start. Whatever the number is, you hear it first and it holds.

What if I don’t like it?

Then you don’t pay. The finished site sits on a private link until you decide. Passing costs nothing and needs no explanation.

Is there a monthly fee?

No. The Rebuild is one payment and the site is yours. Care is there if you want me to host it and keep it healthy — $99 a month, first month already in, stop any month.

What happens to my domain and email?

The domain stays in your name — I only update DNS so visitors reach the new site. Your email does not move. Old page addresses redirect to the matching new ones.

All I have is a Facebook page.

That’s a start, not an address of your own. Search, maps, and someone asking around all work better when the business has a site that belongs to it.

How long does it take?

About a week for most sites, once I know what the business does. Pointing your domain at the finished site takes minutes after that.

How do I change things later?

Write the change in ordinary language and send it over. Most edits go live the same day or the next weekday.

Job sheet

Write what the business does. A few sentences is enough — I’ll come back with a straight answer, usually the same day.
